Cleaning cases contaminated with lead from the priming in a cloths washer or worse a dish washer whether nickle plated or not is not a wish choice. Unless one is afterhigh lead count numbers. But hey, this is America.
Hopefully a dedicated dish washer or washer machine was used during this process, my wife get's on to me now just for greasy clothes... I could not even imagine how pissed she would be.....and the lead contaminate thing
RCModel said it best in post #16. I treat all my nickel plated brass the same as I treat plain brass.
Flaking? Didn't know there was a problem there either. Nickel is softer then steel and carbide dies and won't hurt them. Besides. I haven't seen a nickel brass flake in years. Though I have seen the nickel wear off exposing the brass.
