O great wise ones who have sent tons of lead boolits down many revolver barrels, how is best way to clean leading from a revolver forcing cone seeing as how the breech end of barrel is not very accessible?
Thanks, Catpop

Thanks guys,
I already do the Chore boy method to clean the bore, but the forcing cone is smooth and seems a little more difficult for me to remove the leading.

I just went to the Brownell site. I didn't know it came with a cone adapter for the forcing cone.
Thanks guys

Put the cleaning rod through the bore and then put the brush on in the cylinder window of the frame. Wrap the brush with chore boy til it will barely start into the forcing cone. I use a Tipton short pistol rod with a ring on the end so I have leverage to pull and twist the chore boy "wad" into the forcing cone. It's never failed to clean all the fouling and lead from the cone.
Maybe the short cleaning rod with a ring handle is the trick. It only takes a few minutes to clean up.
