An incident that I witnessed yesterday made me think about the possible outcomes in a sharp vs blunt altercation.
There was a road rage incident near my gym. A car had apparently cut a motorcycle off and both motorists stopped by the roadside to "settle" things. The biker dismounted and whipped out a switchblade. The driver got out, reached into his backseat and pulled out a hefty wooden softball/baseball bat.
Upon seeing this, the biker stashed his blade, got back on his kawasaki and rode away at full throttle. I suppose the biker was intimidated with the size of the other guy's bat or was an unexperienced showoff.
U guys ever witnessed any impact weapon vs sharp weapon fights before? What happened? What should an impact weapon user look out for when facing a knife fighter?
