I just got my field grade garand in and I'm really happy with it. Besides some finish wear the metal looks to be in great shape. However the wood is really busted up but for a shooter I'm really happy

I'm ordering a carbine now (heard they are running low). My question do you guys think they will get p17 or 03s in a shootable grade? I would love one of each!

Check out the CMP forums. That's your best source of info.

But just to wet your appetite. :) (these are all CMP service grades)

I have about 5k I was going to roll into some investments but I'm considering spending it at the cmp. I'm not planning on reselling anytime soon but it seems that most of their guns a worth as much as you pay for them if you resell privately and in 15-20 years I think these 600$ sg will be worth a bundle
