Went into the local gun shop today. These guys are known for having great prices. I happened to find a beautiful coast to coast 12 gauge pump there. It looks to be between 60s and 80s but funtions perfectly. They want 95$ for it. What all can somebody tell me about these? Are the coast to coast shotguns reliable? Durable? Worthy of being a duck gun or just a range toy? Would it be worth my tine and money?

Looks like they are a rebranded Mossberg like so many pawn shop odd brand shotties...

So I think it's a steal

(Back in the day, Mossberg would make shotguns for various department and hardware stores... I think Sears had a line. I can't remember all the names, but I have one that's like Times Western brand or something. Basically... Budget Mossberg)

No kidding? I have a western feild .22. I should look into these house brand guns

If it's a 550, it's a Mossberg.
$95 you say? I payed $125 or so...in 1984 and still use it .
Sounds like a steal.
