Well, Uncle Sam wasn't as hard on me yesterday as I'd imagined. Thought to myself, there's no better way to invest a small windfall than to go pickup that Colt I put on layaway :)

Here she is, ready for some range time!

Nice piece Mutt, wish those were more available in my area, I'd have one! Is the spots on the RT muzzle area due to light refraction, or holster wear? Hope it shoots like my Colts do, you'll be very pleased!

I'm sure there are a lot of people who will call me crazy because it's a Colt, but after shooting it, and cleaning it, I'd hit the whole gun with some Mother's mag polish a few times, and I bet she'd shine up real nice.

I like shinny revolvers.

460Kodiak, you must be a mind-reader :)

I just wait for my wife to hunker down for a "Housewive's of XYZ" marathon session, then I break out the Mothers Mag and microfiber towels; saying "yes dear" while polishing are two of very few things I can do well at the same time.

Geez Mutt, have you no morals? Leave something for the other poor slobs in your area that couldn't find anything at Puyallup or Monroe, they deserve a crumb once in a while :D

You got a beauty, can't wait until it's shined up like a new dime and you post the pic.

Polish it up....I have hand shined most of my mattel guns to clean up minor marks and the yellowing that happens as stainless ages.

:mad::cuss::fire:

Why cant i find any of those?!!!!!
I don't know that i have ever even seen one in my area!!!
I would love to find myself one of those to put on layaway somewhere
Beautiful gun though you have yourself a keeper

It is a nice activity when you feel like relaxing in front of the tv isn't it. You keep your hands busy, you can watch, or not watch what is on the telly, and when you are done, you have shown tlc to an investment, accomplished something, and can feel good about your evening.

I tell people it's my version of knitting. Some people make sweaters. I polish revolvers.

Can't wait to see how nice your King Cobra looks after its been polished. I have a couple of Smiths and a Ruger that are so shiney you would swear they were nickel plated.
