I just jumped on a Gunbroker "Buy Now" deal...

A Colt Peacekeeper 357 with a 4" barrel in excellent condition for $300. I have been looking for one for a while, and when I checked Gunbroker today it had only been listed for about 4 hours.

For those who don't know, the Peacekeeper was Colt's low budget version of the Trooper MKV. It uses the same frame and lock work as the Trooper MKV and King Cobra, but has a matte blue finish. It's perfect for a woods gun or truck gun.

Now all I have to do is wait for it to arrive. I'll post pics when it gets to its new home.

Cool gun!!!! I'd totally drop $300 on that!!!!

Congrats. I can't wait for a range report.

Texas, you stole that Colt Peacekeeper. I've got one just like it; #45xxxV of the series. FYI I'm told the 4" ones are the less common ones.

But please don't use it as a truck gun. Buy a Ruger Security Six or GP100 for the truck. Keep that Colt safely inside and see what they're selling for in 3-4 years.

I wouldn't worry too much Starter52.

Every time I add another piece to my Colt collection, it ends up being babied. Even if it spends time in the truck, it will be in the padded center console. I don't mistreat any of my guns!
