I have a colt Peacemaker .22 .I read were Eagle grips have grips for the Colt new frontier .22,quistion is the grip frame on these two guns the same?where I can use new frontier.22 grips on the peacemaker.22?

There were a variety of Colt .22 Single Action revolvers, ranging from the aluminum or "Zamac" zinc framed Scout models to the color case hardened steel framed guns like the Peacemaker .22 and New Frontier .22.

As far as I can remember, the same size grips were used on all versions.
While you should contact Eagle for the last word, the steel framed Peacemaker and new Frontier .22's use the exact same grip both in design and size.

+1 on that

The grip frame (IMHO from having the Wilkerson book) on New Frontier and Peacemaker should be absolutely identical. I suspect grips for the Frontier Scout might fit but I would not bet on that. Note: I have the Wilkerson book on the 22 Colt revolvers and he writes that the stocks on the G series (Peacemakers and New Frontiers) were designed to be interchangeable. "Great care was taken in the molding of both the grip frame and the stocks to insure this compatibility." He does go on to say that some final fitting and polishing were done when fitting the grips to a specific grip frame. Thus, it seems implied that if you were to put some grips from another Colt G series on your gun a slight amount of polishing or fitting might be necessary. BTW I have a Peacemaker I just bought recently and really, really like it. FYI Thie Peacemaker and New Frontier .22s were released simultaneously by Colt. Hope that helps.
