Colt Revolvers (trooper III/python/KC) known issues?

A few months ago I took a burglary report from a old man at his house. Someone broke in took some electronics and his truck. Anyways, we got around to his firearms, which none were taken, and he had a Trooper MkIII pretty much exactly like this one pictured. The guy said he bought it like 25 to 30 some odd years ago, shot it some and its been sitting, well taken care of, since. Seriously if he told me it had never been shot I would have believed him. It was probably the nicest revolvers I have ever laid my hands on. I want one so bad.
