Either a missquote by Fox or Rinehart doesn't know where the airport is.

The drama continues. There is something out there that people keep seeing (enough credible people have claimed spotting it now), but I dunno if it is a freakin african lion. My money is on a mountain lion. Maybe.

Weird. I started to throw the 45/70 in my trunk today when I dropped the kids off at school and when I picked them up, but then.... the schools are weapon free zones- not lion free zones. :uhoh:

BTW- That REALLY is the school logo and mascot....no photoshop.

IIRC Years ago there was a black bear on the lose just near where I live. The local zoo was transfering him and he escaped. This lasted for about a week or so and there were few spotting reported. I dont know what happened to the bear, I think it was caught and sent back with out incident.

For what it's worth, the Cincinnati local news Tues. night had a Columbus police officer on, who said that he had seen the beast, and it was a really large coyote. [!!@#??!]
Having only recently moved back to Ohio after 25 years in Alaska, it appears to me that the locals get kind of hysterical over nature. Dire warnings about the horrible chances of an inch of snow, cicadas about to ravage the countryside, and turning a coyote into a lion?
Come on guys, get a grip!

They ran a coyote out of the woods....so? That doesn't mean that several people did not see a cat of some sort. I'm sure they ran rabbits, geese, deer and field mice out of the woods as well....maybe even a homeless person or two. That doesn't prove or disprove anything. There are tons of coyotes around here. I also work close to the airport , and I've seen coyotes running around our company's grounds in the middle of the day..and geese, and fox, and deer.
I think it grossly unfair, and unrealistic to believe that people around here panic at the sight of any wildlife.

The fact that someone has transformed a coyote into a lion is not hard to believe in this day and age of urban blissninnies.

My cousin is an LEO in the fairly upscale town of Deerfield, Illinois, just north of Chicago. He had a case where a neighborhood was all upset because a FOX had been sighted in a nearby field. The residents of the area were afraid that this fox might ATTACK their CHILDREN.
