Combat Masterpiece Value?

I got offered a Combat Masterpiece in trade for a 1911 I have listed on Armslist, and am trying to figure out a value. Has some finish wear - I'd call it 85% condition, and has Pachmayr grips. That's all the information I have before I decide if I want to meet the guy - thoughts on potential value??

A model 15 in the condition you describe I'd guess 400-450 before the craziness started........but now, who knows?

The S&W Combat Masterpiece was a standard LEO-issue sidearm for many years. Fine gun, but there are lots of them out there. At 85% with Pachs, even if the lock-up is good, it's a $400 handgun, if that.

Same here. At 85% I doubt that it would bring over $400. Probably closer to $350.

Wow. My local market would ask $650 for a gun as you describe, and it would likely bring at least $550.

I PAID $225.00 FOR AN M15 the end of last year and in my opinion that was ALL it was worth.

Regardless of the price, it's an excellent revolver. I picked one up in similar shape and have been very pleased with the performance.
