My first go round with a BuckMark was 34 years ago on my first hunt. As an 8 year old who had just fired dad’s 20 ga single mounted to my shoulder bone, I was instantly determined to be done with firearms. Then, just as quickly, Sarge unholstered his Browning and convinced me to give shooting one more try. One magazine later and I was hooked it seems for life. Fast forward to youth deer season, late shopping for no-scent soap, and spotting a new clearance BuckMark that had to be mine. $240 plus tax ($256.80), I think it was a good deal and I’ve got a great reminder of that first hunt. I guess technically I’d need to buy a single-shot 20 to bring things full circle but this is gonna have to suffice. 4” bull barrel, adj. rear and Patridge front with full top rail. Think I might just skip on a sight for now. Not quite what I shot as a kid but the price was right.
