Savage, for one. Mossberg. Rugers are made of solid unobtanium. I've heard rumors they exist, but know of no one who actually received one.

I was playing with one at a friend's place yesterday, he bought it at a local shop in stock. Nothing really special, just another 1911 with upgraded parts. I wish they would stop with the silliness and get back to making the guns that only they make.

CZ hasn't jumped on the bandwagon. Yet. Unless you count Dan Wesson, which in my mind I keep separate. Somehow the idea of a CZ 1911 kinda makes me feel funny inside...

    Why?

CZ bought them and market them. They are in the same catalog and the same booth at the SHOT Show. If you have a problem and need to contact CS, you don't call Dan Wesson, you call CZ

FN manufactured the run of Browning-marketed .45ACP commemorative 1911s.

Now if Glock actually made that photoshop gun, I would buy my first Glock ever.

I dunno, really. I guess if it's not actually made in Uhersky Brod, I don't consider it a "real" CZ. The same way I no longer consider my Dodge an American truck since I found ou tit was actually made in Mexico. Hey, it makes sense to me. It don't have to make sense to anybody else... :p

Using that logic, Springfield Armory doesn't make a 1911 either...as none of the 1911s..or any guns... they sell originate domestically ;)

Yeah but that wouldn't stop Glockaholics from claiming they invented it! :)

Cross Bersa and Chiappa off that list.

You are correct, sir. I still think of the XD series as HS 2000's. Matter of fact, just after Springfield brought out the XD lineup, a gun store guy tried to sell me a HS 2000. I would have bought it, too, except he wanted Springfield money for it, instead of HS 2000 money.
