• Possible Downtime Alert

I am working to migrate THR from the current cluster to a new one. I would like to get this done before the weekend, but it's unclear what the timeframe will be, as testing is still ongoing. As I am writing this the new (rebuilt) host is doing a burn-in to ensure that everything will keep running under load.

When the migration happens users will see a Cloudflare message indicatating it cannot connect to the server. This is expected, and depending on how the migration goes this may last from 30 minutes to 3 hours - I won't know more until testing the various migration options is complete and I have finalized the plan.

More information is available in this thread.

As always, thanks so much for your patience.

I would be interested in hearing comments concerning the pros & cons of the CZ 97 BD and Beretta PX4 Storm 45acp from this experienced group of shooters.
I welcome all of your inputs. / buddhas

I'll personally take a CZ over a Beretta any day.

But my favorite guns are the FNX 40, The HK P30, and the FN FiveseveN. S&W M&P is a great one also, and they come in .357 sig which is pretty much the best auto pistol caliber.

I don't own either, but I've handled each of them a few times at gun shows and gun stores.

The CZ 97 feels big every time I handle it. For perspective, my regular shooters are a 1911 and an S&W 4506. The grip isn't outsized like a Glock G21, but the whole gun just seems big. I get a similar feeling when I handle the FN .45.

The Berettta PX4 .45 doesn't feel quite as big overall, but the grip feels a little chunckier. It is lighter than the CZ.

If you haven't found this already, here is a review of the PX4 .45 by the late Mr. Camp.
