Please provide your experience and insights or recommendations for holsters to permit carry a Ruger S. Blackhawk; 4 5/8 in. barrel, 44 mgn.
So far the El Paso #77 "Tortilla," or the Milt Sparks HSR appears to be suitable. I realise this large s.s. revolver is not readily concealable, however I will be wearing heavy clothing for the winter. I'm retired, so the carry is solely private citizenship.

If you don't have one already, a good gun belt is an essential part of any carry system. People are always surprised how much easier it is to carry and conceal a firearm with a good belt. It would really make carrying that Blackhawk easier. As far as the holsters go I haven't had any experience with the types mentioned, but I do own several Milt Sparks products. They are top notch and I really think you would be happy with any of their holsters. As long as you stick with reputable, quality makers you should do well.

stay safe,

-Kevin
