I am considering buying the DeSantis "speed scabbard" holster for my new compact M&P 9mm. Does anyone have any experience with this holster? Or can anyone reccoment a different holster of this type?

I do not care for the IWB holsters because I find them uncomfortable and I'm skinny so they stick out like a boner when I wear them. I also do not care for the thumb break models because they seem to add just enough bulk to make the weapon noticeable.

I figure the speed scabbard would be a reasonable compromise. I just hate to spend 60 dollars on something to find out that it is a POS. Any advice would really be appreciated. Thank you.

Well, anyway, DeSantis leather is one of the top makes in mass-produced holsters, so there should be no worries there.

I use the Desantis Speed Scabard for my M&P full size and my compact. Very comfortable and good leather. I bought it of the S&W website. One holster fits both.
