An odd question and perhaps not the best forum (closest I could think of) but I can almost swear a few months ago that I saw a post from someone in Connecticut mentioning a shooting "area" or range in one of the Parks or Trails/Campgrounds that is around CT.

Does anyone know of any shooting locations located in campgrounds or parks around Connecticut? Do any other states have these?

Thanks for any responses, I know it sounds weird but if there was a place like that it'd definitely be fun:eek:

There's High Rock Shooting Association up in Naugatuck state forest, that might be the one? Only one I can think of anyways.

Here's their website if you're interested in them.

Also look up Wooster Mountain Range, near Danbury.

Here in MN, I found a link to all sorts of ranges once--IIRC it was on our DNR site. Try the CT Natural Resources, whatever, and see what might come up--or a link out of a google?
