Moose, that is one fine looking AK, tell us all about it, make, model, ect...
How bout' that wood finish on the stock and handguard?
Who did the muzzelbrake and what brand is it?
I always chuckle when I see a scope mounted on an AK, but that is a fine mount, what brand....
I'm really happy about the way that AK turned out. It started as a Romanian G kit That I sent to Darrel Storm to build for me. He shot it out of a metal rest and sent the target back to me. It shoots just a smig over MOA. The green and brown finish was done by Mac at Mac's Restorations ([email protected]). I bought the Maple quilted burl on Ebay, and sent it to Scott Murphy at Gripsandstocks.com. He made the set of furniture and used an oil finish. The flash hider is a Phantom(Cope's) and the scope mount is a low mount Belarus. The high mount puts your face up to high for any cheek weld on the stock, but to low mount works great. All and all, everybody that worked on this AK did a super job. I like nice looking, as well as nice shooting guns, so I think the money spent on this one was well worth it. My wife will beg to differ.
Wives hardly ever have that understanding sense of humor, when it comes to firearms....
Why do you need another gun?....... the same reason she needs another piece of jewlery... right? lol hehehe
