If I wanted to buy some copper crushers (300 or so) where would I buy them?

    Google is failing me.

I doubt you'll find them online. You might try emailing Speer, Sierra, Hornady, etc., and ask if they would reveal their supplier.

A company named Modern-Bond Corp., in Wilmington Del. made the universal receivers used by the firearms companies for copper-crusher pressure testing.

I imagine they may have also made the calibrated hardness copper cylinders.

Plan old copper rod won't get it!

It seems Modern-Bond may be out of business now, replaced by a silicone chip pressure-transducer no doubt!
