I've been shooting this ammo for years always being alert to detect any reason i shouldn't use it. No such reason has ever presented itself. I'm fairly immune to the various theories of 'stopping power' but I do appreciate a bullet that expands under a variety of conditions and holds together well enough to penetrate.

One way I tested penetration was to line 15 water filled sandwich sized zip lock baggies in a slender box. Got a good idea of penetration and had more fun than shooting ribs.

I've done the same thing (Fackler Box). It is kind of fun to watch the water erupt and figure out where the bullet is gonna stop.
You can also fill the long box with dressed grocery store chickens(Cackler Box) but you draw alot of cruel ridicule when you do this.
