Cost of shipping bullets

No, I was so glad to get bullets I did not ask (buyers remorse I guess). Does seem like Nachez would do like others to help their customers. I promise to be more alert in the future to the shipping charges.
I didn't realize I could buyer directly from Berry's. I'll try that next time.

Catpop,
Natchez and Midway are pretty on top of the current demand as far as getting things shipped. But they aren't a boutique and they don't use USPS AFAIK. Other vendors, who knows? I just told Sarco to take a hike after 7+ weeks on an order that was supposed to be in stock. Montana Gold had their wait at 20 days when I ordered, that went up to 25 days Now they are 30-40 days out and have shut down all ordering. Darn responsible of them in my opinion. 30 days later I'm still waiting (and will wait) for them to ship.

It sucks but you've got some bullets. At an extra 2.5 cents per bullet, how much are you still saving versus off the shelf? Around here, 9mm is up to 18 a box if you can find it. :what: With the bullets I ordered from Natchez thanks to your post, I will be reloading for about 16 cents a round. 13.5 cents or 16 cents a round versus 36 cents a round and being able to actually go shoot is a win in my book. My 357 sig is $30+ a box so 18 cents versus 60 cents is a no-brainer.

If it makes you feel any better, I'm glad you posted this. :D I was tickled when I went to their site and saw they had 9mm in stock. I was able to snag some XTP bullets off of Midway early this week but want some cheap plinkers. I was about to run down to a local guy that casts at 10 cents a round which is darn expensive for lead.

BTW, you can't order direct from Berrys at the moment. They are so backed up that they have shut down their order page for everything.

Not sure what you paid for the bullets, but that sounds pretty high. Precision delta 230 gn fmj rn $135.00 per 1000 includes shipping. But probably a 2 to 3 month wait. A bullet in the hand is worth two in the bush. Just be glad you got some.
