    I concur entirely with post #25. When conservatives go moderate, They lose. They fail to draw a clear enough distinction between themselves and the opposition.

    McCain is a textbook RINO. I'm less than enthused by his response.

    He supported a universal background check in the past no reason to think he won't do it again in the future.

    McCain should change his party affiliation. I only voted for him because he was the lesser of two evils.

    I wouldn't count on McCain. But who knows? He may suprise me and stick up for us.

    This ones wandering off the path and turning into something distracting from our purpose here.

    Mark the response, work on bolstering his opposition to these additional pointless restrictions and keep pushing the idea of a root cause analysis and solutions to violence instead of scapegoating.
