Been playing this game for years since college, anyone else get the CS addiction? Its a fully online game where you can play 25 vs 25 in terrorist vs counter terrorist situations ranging from hostage rescue to protecting a VIP, etc. Very fun/dynamic game that introduced me to a lot of weapons that I would not have normally known without enlisting myself in the Marines.

I love how a bunch of .45ACP SMGs are 'high power', while some are only medium, and that most of the 5.56 NATO rifles are 'high power', and the PSG-1 and others in 7.62 NATO are only medium or medium-high.

I also like the way that the Glock 18C 9mm is 'medium power' on single shot, whereas the 9mm Berettas are only 'low power'.

Avoid Counter-Strike if you want realism.

For Battlefield 2 players, there is a mod called Project Reality. It tries to make it as realistic as possible without making it not fun. They deliberately made it harder for people to accomplish anything while being a loner.

Only in this mod can your entire team of 6 hop into a Humvee and go for a 5 minute drive across the map.

I've been playing off and on for 7 years, I started playing during 1.3 beta. I played Source for about a year and then went back to 1.6. There are much more realistic games such as Red Orchestra, in which you play as the Russian army during the battles of WW2. Hacking really isn't all that common anymore at all.
