I have a S&W 649. I am considering some Crimson Trace laser grips for it. I have looked on Crimson Trace's website at both the LG-305 and LG-405 models. From the pictures I cannot tell if they both have long enough grips to include the pinky finger. The grips that came with the 649 are long enough to accommodate the pinky.

I would want the grips to be rubber and at least as long as the original grips. The lg-405 is advertised as being superior in recoil management which would be a plus when firing the 649. They say it comes with a recoil reduction pocket, whatever than means. This model (405) seems to be ideal, but it would have to be long enough for the pinky. Can anyone help me here with some info?
