I looked for an IWB holster for my G19 for a while, and it finally came down to the Crossbreed Supertuck and the Comp-Tac MTAC Minotaur. I ended up going with the MTAC because I was very put off by the overbearing religiosity of the Crossbreed product. I mean, seriously, they should be in the business of building holsters, not evangelizing. It forced me to vote with my wallet. Just my opinion.

I like them. But I found a guy making the same concept for $50 shipped with lead times of less than a week.
The guy makes a living doing what he loves and makes a great product. He also puts his belief system into it. Can't blame a guy for that, it is hardly overbearing. It is only overbearing if somebody is twisting your arm and forcing you to buy one and wear it.

Like I said, that's just my opinion. However, I'm not the only one who's made the decision not to by CB holsters because of the religion aspect. One of my buddies had the same dilemma and also went with another holster maker. He was willing to pay the ebay markup to get a Sparks VMII without the 6 month wait.
But aside from all the other stuff, the main difference I really like in the MTAC versus the CB is that the MTAC uses kydex that covers the entire barrel of the gun. The CB leaves the end of the gun exposed, which can lead to more printing/wear a spot on your pants fabric.

I haven't experienced the additional wear or printing. I'm pretty rough on my clothes, anyway.
I do prefer my muzzle end open, though. One reason is dirt and moisture. During the summer, I'm active outside and sometimes that puts me around water. I'd rather have the muzzle open for dirt, debris and/or water to fall through. I live in the "sandhills" of nc, and working outside around the house can lead to some gritty buildup inside hosters. It's easier for me to clean them if they're open. I'd also rather keep the muzzle open in case I decide to stick a g17 in my holster meant for a g19.
I really like the mtac when I looked at it. In the end, I didn't see any features that won me over. It was nice to be able to change kydex bodies, but the price wasn't user friendly. The crossbreed won me over based on price and features that I wanted. A guy that makes holsters in arkansas won me over from crossbreed based on price and lead times.
Holsters choices are pretty personal from what I've noticed. What's right for one guy is completely wrong for the next.

I bought a Crossbreed SuperTuck about 2 years ago to use with my Springfield Champion. I carried the gun in this holster about 3/4 of the year, only switching to a Galco Skyops when wearing dress clothes, and pocket carrying a P3AT when it got really hot.
Over time I noticed that the serrated novak front sight on my 1911 was carving gouges out of the Kydex every time I drew. This was a problem considering I spent alot of time on the range with this holster. It eventually wore through the Kydex to the point that it cracked along the sight channel. I just lived with it until recently when one of the plastic belt clips cracked.
I called Crossbreed up and they told me to send it back to them with a note explaining what I wanted. I did so, asking for the new metal belt clips, and a sight channel that ran the full length of the holster.
About a week later I received a package from them with a brand new holster, with new leather and metal clips, and with the sight channel reformed. It fits my 1911 perfectly and the front sight no longer takes chunks out of the kydex.
The only thing I paid was shipping to them, which was a few dollars.
It is refreshing to see a company that really stands by its product and has a warranty that is worth more than the paper it is printed on.
I will encourage my friends to buy from Crossbreed, and I have been eyeing the Ohai modular holster and accessories as a good solution to car carry, and a more secure system of bedside storage.

I'll second the post on good customer service! I ran through two sets of kydex clips and now have the steel ones, and never paid a penny to get new sets. one phone call to them and they hooked me up. I recently sent it back to them because the kydex had cracked in three places. No questions asked, they had it back to me in about ten days with a new body.
The supertuck isn't my favorite holster, but you can't beat the company for standing by their product!

I received a SuperTuck as a gift. It was my first IWB and my pants were already snug, so it was no-go until I lost 10 lbs. Now I can enjoy it as comfortable all-day holster for an M&Pc. The standard M&P will also fit the holster, but the longer barrel digs into my hip. Also, the metal belt clips have sharp edges that scratched up my belt.
Using this, or any other, IWB holster for full concealment with a tucked-in shirt tail is a hassle, so I always have a jacket or loose shirt. That said, this experience with an IWB causes me to favor OWB holsters. As stated in a post above, holster preferences are highly personal and individual, so YMMV.

The VMII is an all-leather holster. The CrossBreed is a leather/Kydex hybrid.
Two birds of entirely different feathers.
Very few leather holster owners care to see the damage to their gun's finish that comes with a Kydex holster, and the Kydex guys don't see why you would pay $125 and wait six months for a Milt Sparks VMII.
It is not a dilemma, per se. It is two different points of view that are nearly diametrically opposed.
Neither is right or wrong. But most will probably hold one position or the other.
Funny, I always took that as "a cross between leather and Kydex". Because that is what it is.

The Supertuck made life much better for me. I carry a full-size 1911 year-round, including 100+ degree summers. I have used other IWB and OWB options, but this one is by far the most comfortable. In summer, I can wear shorts and a tshirt, no problem.

i have had my supertuck for almost two years now and i am totally sold on their company as far as iwb holsters go. their products are first rate and their customer service. i actually managed to bend one of my belt clips once so i contacted mark and told him the situation. he asked for my adress and within about three days, there was a new set of clips in my mailbox. absolutly NO CHARGE to me!
when i first ordered my holster i knew nothing about the company's religious aspects but i was very pleased once i learned about them. mark is a fair dealing man that stands behind his products, and that is something you rarely see these days. Crossbreed will absolutly get my business again and again in the future!

I am very interested in getting one of these holsters. I presume I should get the belt too. WTH, right... 
Religious discussions aside (although I don't recall Mark requiring me to convert to buy his product and no one has ever remarked about the crosses on the clips) I've standardized on CrossBreed holsters for my IWB carry. As most of us have, I tried a lot of different holsters before settling on the CrossBreed.
The holster fits me well, is of high quality construction and is backed by a pretty much carte blanche guarantee. What more could a guy want?

I got the belt too. Love it just as much. Lifetime warranty on any wear. Basically the last belt I'll ever have to buy.I am very interested in getting one of these holsters. I presume I should get the belt too. WTH, right...

CB is always my first choice for holsters.
