Anyone have any experience with either of these holsters? Despite the price difference (2x), I'm still considering the Tucker holster. I believe I prefer the design of these to that of the CTAC since it's putting leather against your body and not kydex & your gun. The workmanship of the Tucker looks far superior but I like that the Crossbreed has more leather which, it seems, would be more comfortable...

Any other options for an adjustable IWB would be appreciated.

I have the Tucker. It isn't all that I had hoped that it'd be.

We're all put together differently, so my 'spare tire' belly may not be the same as another persons '6 pack' abs. My '6 pack' is now more like a 'keg'.

I wish The Answer were made of thin leather backing especially around the sweat tab and thicker kydex in the holster 'pocket' thats attached to the leather backing.

I dunno about the Crossbread. If that is what you pick, and after you have tried it out around the house for a few days, please let me know how you like it.

I'd appreciate your response. Thanks.

I have an adjustable supertuck horsehide on order for my M&P. Nice thing is it will also hold my M&P compact when I find one.

tucker answer

i have had an answer for two years ,very comfortable but also noisy as any leather holster will be .i ended up buying the c-tac for summer wearbecause the kydex doesn't creak and groan like leather.

Crossbreed

I have several Crossbreeds and they are extremely comfy. I don't think they are of lesser quality that the Tucker. They do have leather on the back that is up against your skin and kydex on the outside for ease of reholstering and retention. For me they are very confy between 3-4 o'clock.

An older 70 Series Combat Commander. Its actually the property of one of my sons. I gave it to him several years ago. I'm kinda babysitting it for him for a bit.

I've got a Crossbreed IWB for my Kahr PM9

It is absolutely the most comfortable IWB holster I've ever owned. In fact, I just ordered Crossbreed SuperTucks for the PM9 and my P2000SK. They may not be as pretty as a Milt Sparks or Mitch Rosen holster, but I find them much more comfortable.

Crossbreed is the way to go. I have several of their holsters and a couple more being made as I type this. Yes, the owner is a friend of mine. However, I do not endorse products that I do not believe in and use. I have never found a more comfortable holster, nor a better rig for carrying guns of ANY weight. I can comfortably carry my TRP in a Supertuck IWB rig and it is a heavy 1911 (full dust cover model). Call them up and tell them I sent you.
