Anyone going to the Crossroads show this weekend? I will be coming down from my cave to pick up supplies and accessories. Already blew my budget for guns this year.

Anybody want to meet up for lunch? Assuming you call the stuff they sell there food!

I'm headed down there, it will be my first gun show. But my day is already booked, so I'll have to decline on lunch.

Crossroads is in Salt Lake the 19th and 20th. Are you sure there's one in Phoenix too?

They've kinda gone downhill in recent years I think. Now that the AWB has expired, and the gunshow isn't the exclusive place to buy pre-ban stuff, I think interest has tailed off.

Senior moments

Senior moments happen when you get halfway to somewhere and forget why you were going in the first place.

They do not happen concerning gun shows.:neener:

It has become way overpriced. You might find some deals here and there, but if you invested that time looking around on the internet for good prices, or better yet, working an hourly wage, you would come out ahead.

Sometimes I think that it is more of a social event for the vendors than anything else.

All the newspaper and radio ads must be wrong. :neener:

There most assuredly is a Crossroads gun show in Phoenix this weekend. I will be going on Sunday. Unfortunately I don't have any money for guns.:( But it's something to do. :) Let's do lunch!

Wish i could, but i promised the wife i would finish painting the fence(only 300 feet to go) and i couldn't " Tom Sawyer" my two adult sons into doing it for me. There is a show in Mesa the 3rd and 4th maybe i'll hit that one

Was a nice show but most of the prices where a bit nuts. Went looking for a nice .22 handgun and couldn't find anything decent that wasn't higher than retail. Did pick up a very nice 39A for $260 though.

Went Saturday with GF, stepson (in Army uniform), best friend. We had a good time picking up accessories and sundries. Best friend picked up a couple of guns he's been wanting.

Many fewer people than normal, good selection of the stuff we were looking for, prices were reasonable. Did notice many of the dealers I used to see at every show were nowhere to be seen. The change in schedule may have thrown them off.

All in all, a good half day.
