CS40-45 grip change away from Hogues

    I own a S&W CS40 and would like to change the grips out to something like this. I am not sure which model of S&W grips to order and thought I would inquire here for Mr. Reeder has forgotten because he made this gun years ago. I did ask him recently and his response was, "I've made 1500 custom guns since then, sorry, I no longer have those records."

    I know these are something I'd have to order and cut down, but I'd really like to get the order right the first time is all, so I'm asking for help.

    Okay, that link was very good and provided the info I needed now that I'm actually at that point with mine. I used a 3913 grip and it's a touch narrow.

    Dremel work is an understatement. I wish I could set one up as a milling machine for this....argh. I'm looking up the epoxy bedding material through the link and ordering soon.

    It took a while to get there, but these resources are what allowed me to do it.
