Ok I just brought a couple of guns this week and I'm still suffing from gun fever... I'm still thinking of buying a gun for my birthday next month, and what I'm going to get after I get my refund...

Any hope?

you're taking you're gun ownership for granted. i haven't even shot a gun for MONTHS!
*breaks down and cries in the corner*

ah, when i can own my own guns...

It's good to know other people suffer from this. The other night my girlfriend said "Are you happy with the guns you have?" I told her "absolutely" and quickly changed the subject before she could say "good, don't buy anymore."

Not really sure how to bring up the S&W 642 I bought last week. I go shooting twice a week, should I just start shooting it when we go tomorrow? She probably won't yell at me in public. ;)

The quickest, most sobering cure I can think of is the clerk saying:
" I'm sorry Mr. whm1974, your credit card has been declined."
That being said, I usually make sure I have cash on hand...after all, money is made to be spent.

What of it if I'm a day or two late on the mortgage. It's not like they are gonna take my house away that fast. ;)

No cure. You have to live with it till you die but it does require regular medication in the form of regularly purchasing another gun. No, your medical insurance DOES NOT cover the prescriptions-they consider it a pre-existing condition no matter when it started. Ammo extra.

Well last year I found that being broke or can't afford to spend the money does lower the fever. But it flares up when I have money.

Yes there is. Do like I did, get another hobby that is more expensive. I just took over ownership of a 1970 Mercury Cougar with a 351C engine.

Got it for free. :D

I'm sure thats gonna soak up alot of my slush funds for guns.

A few guns I want:

Makarov
Taurus model 94 stainless steel 22LR w 2" barrel
AK clone
AR-15
Something made by Hi-Point....
Bersa .380 or .22
More to come...

There is no cure. You can continue to lessen the anxiety by purchasing more guns. Eventually debt fever overcomes gun fever and only a few paychecks can restore the proper balance.

Where I work at, some of the guys buys a gun or two a month. Too bad I don't have that kind of money.

yes there is a cure! well sort of. you must simply trasnfer the fever over to a willing associate. typically money is the most common way to conduct such a transfer and me being the selfless person that I am i will gladly volunteer to recieve such a blessing, i mean curse :D
