Some guys just like a detachable mag, others prefer the simplicity of a floorplate. A blind magazine is the simplest with no chance of a malfunction. A gun with a blind floorplate can be built as much as 1/2 lb lighter. A detachable mag can be easier to load and unload. It can also be lost and most folks buy at least 1 spare just in case, which adds to the cost. There are enough who like each type to justify building all 3 types.
My personal preference is slightly towards a blind magazine, but like a floorplate well enough. I don't really want a 4 round DM on a bolt rifle. I can load 4-5 rounds by hand easy enough. On a 20-30 round AR it is different.
Some come with the accu-stock, some do not. The accu-stock has not lived up to it's initial hype. If it is any more accurate than the other stocks it is not enough for most folks to notice.
Same with the Accu-trigger. There is nothing magic about the Accu-trigger. It is just a foolproof way for a DIY trigger adjustment that will not let the gun become dangerous. Lots of guns out there with much better triggers that don't need to be adjusted after you get them home.
I've owned 3 Savage rifle's, my son-in-law owns one and my brother used to own one. I've never shot one that was accurate enough to earn a spot in my safe. I have Winchesters, Remingtons, FN's and several others that have all been better. But I've never seen a Savage that shot poorly either.
As long as you use quality parts, and screw everything together straight any gun is going to be accurate. With most other guns this requires a skilled machine operator, or accurate CNC machines to get close tolerences. The Savage action and bolt design is made so that they will still fit together straight without worrying so much about quality machining. This means you can build a gun much less expensively, and with very few that shoot poorly. But in my experience, no more accurate than any other gun that is put together right.
