The K2S ist a weird gun to start out with. Kinda looks like made from parts out of Home Depot. But I have done pretty well with this gun at action rifle contests. Light, makes bigger holes than the 223s, decent accuracy up to 50 yards and pretty reliable. Wanted to experiment with a custom paint job and decided on this textured paint which is very rough and slip resistant (Rustoleum Textured Paint). Clean all parts to be painted with brake cleaner in the spray can. Let dry. Then put on light coats, one after the other waiting 5 minutes in between. Note that you should not try to cover everything with each coat, sure way to get runs. I used a hair dryer in between to speed up the process. Holds up surprisingly well as long as you do not paint parts subject to a lot of friction.
