    I've got a Custom SP101

Done by Jack Weigand. Ported, action job and bobbed hammer.

It is my new American Express gun. I don't leave home without it.

Teach me something, please. My Cobra has no ejector shroud. What's the difference?

Welcome to THR, bigbren. I can help you with your question. Earlier Cobra revolvers were not shrouded. The shrouds came on the later models.

Thank you for the answer and the welcome. Do you know what year the shrouds came in? My DS has the shroud. I believe it's a 2nd generation?

I believe the shrouded ejector rod housings were introduced around 1973.

    thanks!

Jim Badger makes those custom grips. He cut the left side panel to clear speedloaders.

If you call him and tell him what you want, he'll custom make them and not charge you any more than off-the-shelf grips he has in stock.

Great guy to deal with and a retired LEO.
