I stopped at one of my regular gun dealers a couple of weeks age and he said he would have two of these by Christmas and one was spoken for. So I told him I wanted the other thinking I wouldn't see this thing for a loooooooong time. I called him tonight and he said he got them in and he still had one with my name on it. First thing I thought when I saw it was "Wow this is short!!!!" And then when I held it I realized how light it is. It was a done deal at that point. Wasn't expecting him to have it so soon so I go back on Friday to pay for it and take her home!!!!!

One question anybody know where I can get accesories?

Also I think 357 Sig would be the perfect caliber for this carbine.

Dern now if it came in .357 SIG....I really doubt the 9mm model does much my 7.63 mauser wont but with much less class...wont take strippers and you cant stick it in the buttstock and pack it as a pistol..

buttrap I agree about the 357 Sig but I am hoping that an aftermarket barrel becomes available. Beretta designed these to have swappable barrels so when they come out with the 45 I can change to that.

What gives with the scalper pricing? I paid $576.00 plus 6% sales tax (and I know the dealer was still making money on the sale).

Coot!!

I figured that it would be WAAAY more than that! 'Nother one on ~"The List"~

I heard my wife talking to her Mother last night. (MIL) "Do you KNOW that they've got LISTS of the guns they're going to buy"? (Wife) "Yes Mom, I know about it. I've got my OWN little list". :p

Paid $549

I paid $549 for mine. With tax it was $583 out the door.:p

I've put about 200 rounds of plain-Jane Winchester white-box through it with nary a problem.

I can't wait until I can get ahold of a top rail so I can mount my EO Tech Holosight; I think it will make quite an addition.

Where can I get the top rail? I can't find it anywhere.

As far as the price this is the only dealer who has any. Can't find any anywhere else so i figured it was worth it.

I'm planning on purchasing either the CX4 or Kel-Tec Sub2000......

Tough choice....

The smooth, aesthetic lines of the CX4 w/ Beretta quality, and italian style at a premium

vs.

Rugged looking, foldable, inexpensive but utilitarian qualities of the Sub2000.

just did a quickie price check at Guns America & GunBroker. Quite a few listed considering they're supposedly "rare" according to some dealers. Prices ranged from $565 to $765 with most in the mid $600s. Not too much price gouging huh? I think I like them but can't think of anything i really need one for except for range plinking and I'd rather have other models for that purpose.

Hmmmmmm.....very cool, kind of looks like a 21st century Uzi, but without the weight.

The rifle in the background of this pic looks like it has a bunch of add ons....but does it come with a rail for an optic? And, is that the ejection port on the left side??

Jack it comes with a built in light rail (just push in the sling stud in the forearm and pull the rail out). The gun is also supplied with one side rail wich you can put on or not. It can be equipped with a total of 4 rails (top, bottom, and sides).

Also the ejection port, bolt handle, safety, magazine release and ejector can be set up left or right without the need of tools.

I handled one at my local gun show Saturday. I liked it as a fun gun but right now with the price at $699.99 I passed. When the price drops a little then I will pick one up.

What are you guys planning to use the Cx4 fr? Home defense? Plinking? Critter control? All the above? I saw one of these Monday at my favorite gun shop. It appears light, well made, and would be a hoot to shoot. I don't what I'd use it for but I'd like to have one.

Wolfy, thanks.... I'm feeling one of those "What did you bring home now?" stares from the wife in my near future. lol

12-34, aww come on, ya can't shoot .223 all the time can ya? ;)

PeteyPete,

I just bought a CX4 ($600 plus tax) and in my humble opinion it is 3 times the gun the Keltec was. I had the newer plastic one and I personally thought it was a very cheap unit....still neat. I could flex my hand around and the two piece grip would wiggle all over...I returned it right away.

Just my $0.02
