CZ 527 - switch direction of safety?

Is it possible to switch the safety of a CZ 527 so that the back position is "safe" and the forward positon is "hot"? I dig this little 7.62x39 carbine but the safety drives me nuts.

I doubt it. I just think of mine as cocking the hammer on a levergun when I get ready to fire.

My Dad would have liked that. He always wondered why the safeties on my various guns worked backwards to the hammers on the simple guns he grew up with.
