I’m pretty excited about the CZ 600 Trail. It looks like a hunting rifle mixed with an AR mixed with a PDW. I think it will sell well as there really isn’t anything mainstream like it. It is only being offered in .223 and 7.62x39. I’m hoping they release it in 6.5 Grendel. I doubt CZ will make it in a full power rifle caliber (.308 and .30-06 parent cartridge variants) as a more stout caliber combined with the PDW type stock and light weight will likely detract from the rifle’s appeal. I think it would shine in 6.5 Grendel… light recoiling, AR-15 sized round, accurate, and can shoot effectively at greater ranges that .223 and 7.62x39.
