In my experience you want to stay away from short oal hollow points, so probably a flat point also. My gun hates 115 grain jhp from pretty much anybody, and I'll usually get a nose up failure to feed on a full or mostly full mag. I've learned to load things as long as that short little leade will allow.
Avoid Berry's Target Hollow Point like the proverbial plague. I can load almost all other 115 or 124 gr projectiles short enough to safely load in any CZ I own, usually XTPs at 1.095 COAL works beautifully.
Longer than what? You’re being pretty vague. In general, RN bullets will load to longer COLs than the same weight FPs or JHPs because that's the nature of the beast. FWIW, for a CZ SP-01, I load Precision Delta 124gr JHPs to 1.08” COL which gives me ~ .015” leeway from touching the lands. But, I load one profile of RMR 124gr FMJs to 1.104" COL and another profile to 1.132" for the same pistol. ymmv
I've got 3 of them, and they've been fed pretty much every type, weight, and profile I can find with no issues. Ranging from 115 JHP, up to Gallant hi-tek coated 147 FP. Just mind your COAL and you'll be fine.
The 124 plated from Everglades has more of a pointed profile than a lot of the FMJs that I see including Everglades FMJ. I can load them much longer than most
I had some samples come in yesterday tried a few very small batches this afternoon , the s&s casting 125gr conical nose coated plunked the barrel at 1.120 and was a fantastic shooter
in my cz75 and vp9 , going to load up a bigger batch of these and verify my results.
load was the 125gr CN over CFE Pistol powder lite off with CCI 550 primer
