I looked at a CZ 75 Compact at the gun shop a few weeks ago and I like it better than the 2 CZ-75Bs I have owned.

A question for the CZ lovers out there. How does it compare to the P01? Any major differnces other than the rail. I have relatively small hands for an adult male and the compact seemed to fit better than the full size CZ-75B. Does the P01 have the same grip? I see that they both take the same magazines.

I prefer the Compact, for the simple fact of carrying cocked and locked, and the gun is way slimmer. I dont like the trigger reach on any CZ in DA, so I only shoot them in SA. You can get super thin grips from Angus, to help tame the big grip. I dont carry with a flashlight on my guns, so the rail is useless to me, and it bulks up the gun. If only they made a PCR with a manual safety;)

I carry the CZ-75D PCR pretty much daily. I don't need a light rail on a gun so the P-01 while very nice is blockier than a carry gun needs to be. I like the all steel, Compact models also, but like the weight savings of the PCR.

Compact, steel frame, standard safety. If you like small and solid with cocked and locked, great choice. PCR, cast alloy frame, decocker. My personal backup gun. P01, forged alloy frame, decocker, M3 rail, my primary.
All great sidearms. But, I might be biased...
