At the range last weekend, a round got lodged in the barrel of my CZ model 75. I was using some old(ish) Wolf ammo, and noticed the first two rounds I fired were having trouble extracting completely. The third round was the culprit. I managed to tap it out of the barrel but was hoping to find a solution so that it does not happen again.

Moreover, can someone give me the basics of 'key-holing', as it pertains to this situation.

Thanks ahead.

I suspect that the solution to the sticky case problem is to not shoot Wolf ammo in your CZ. Wolf does not run well in tight chambers, and all of my CZs have always had tight chambers. You can install an uprated extractor spring (sourced from Wolff) that may help decrease the frequency of the malfunction, but it only masks the issue.

Keyholing means that the bullet is tumbling and entering the target sideways. It has no relationship to whether the pistol successfully extracted the spent casing or not.
