I just picked up my brand new P-01. It might be the greatest pistol ever built. It's perfect in my hand. I can't wait to shoot it tomorrow.

Congrats on the P-01. Mine has been totally reliable so far and the trigger smooths up very nicely after a bit of shooting.

I've had an SP-01 on order for a while now. The FFL ordered in a P-01, instead of the SP. Still waiting for my SP. Didn't know it, but the FFL closed shop for the holidays from the end of December to January 2, 08.

    dasmi,

    Hope you enjoy that P-01

Hey there, it's a neat little pistol that in my case is almost shockingly accurate, hopefully your's will be too. One bit of advice, use those snap caps that come with it or buy your own if you plan on dry-firing the PO1. There is a history of firing pin problems relating to the firing pin roll pin gizmo. I've heard that CZ has corrected this but better safe than sorry. Aside from that I firmly believe you've latched on to the absolute best 9mm pistol for the money currently available.................

I have its close relative, a 75D Compact PCR. A very nice gun, at substantially less cost than many of its competitors. It does however need a little "fine tuning" in the case extraction/ejection department.

Looking for a holster? Many leather ones for the SIG P228/P229 will fit.

I just shot it. Oh man, I am smitten. I shoot it very, very well. And I shoot it _fast_. Faster and more accurately than any other gun I've tried. Recoil is stout with heavy loads, but controllable.

I think they came that way. It's been a long time and I've gotten so many gun goodies that I lose track.

Yep, great guns! I have 2 green ones, (1 for me, 1 for my son when he becomes 21). I think they are nearly perfect for a DA/SA pistol.

Hey dasmi I don't have a pic but CZ-USA has these beautiful half-checkered coco-bolo grips for like 55.00 that would look awfully good on that little PO1.
