Good idea or bad idea? Looking for mainly a home type gun. I will be getting a Kahr Pm9 for my CCW soon.

    What do you guys think?

Good and bad points about it. IF you don't have a ready supply of CZ mags, then you won't mind the mag issue, so there is really no bad point.

The Duty mag is the most sturdy looking CZ 9mm mag there is.

CZ is working on a night sight solution, so that point will be rectified soon.

I have a CZ75B and a P01 9mm, both are two of the best auto's I own. I know these aren't the same gun as you are speaking of, but the P01 is a close relative and it is absolutely incredible. CZ makes great stuff. Both of mine have had a few thousand rounds through them and never a malfunction of any kind, even with cheap chinese/russian/korean/cuban/canadian/whatever kind of crap ammo I feed them. Very accurate too, much better than one would expect from a pistol designed for combat. That is my CZ experience, I'm sure the P07 will be a great gun.

My P07 has rendered my other 9mms obsolete which includes a Glock 19, SIG 226, HK P30, and a Nighthawk Ladyhawk. You may find once you have this that you don't really need the Kahr. The P07 conceals pretty well with a IWB holster. I am waiting for CZ to bring out the night sights (and a .40 caliber P07).

If you are looking for nightstand gun, why polymer? If you are not going to carry it ?
If you want a CZ go for a 75 or SP01

For a non-CCW gun, I like steel frames. Absorbs recoil.

Most anything CZ makes is good stuff. The CZ-100 wasn't so hot, but everything else is generally pretty good. And their CS is great.
