So I ordered a bunch of replacement parts for my CZ Scorpion EVO 3 such as new trigger, trigger spring etc and I think I am over my head. Can anyone recommend a gunsmith I can ship this to to finish my work? I have all the parts, but alas, cannot put it back together.

Most of the Scorpion stuff is pretty easy.

HBI, whose springs I would assume you just purchased, has a series of videos on YouTube that shows, exactly, how to install their spring kits, triggers, etc.

Also, "The Original CZ Forum," has a subforum for the Scorpion. If they can't help you through it, there's a problem.

I am also going to join the call to watch some videos. I took my trigger group apart, replaced springs and polished stuff. It isn't that hard. It will be a much better gun when you are done.

So I managed to put it back together after upgrading the trigger, return spring, safety lever...but I can't figure out where one particular tiny dowel goes. I don't remember removing it. Any ideas?

Looks like a detent pin, possibly for the safety selector or takedown pin, is there a corresponding spring? If so there should be a hole in the frame around the safety selector which you place the spring with the detent on top and collapse the detent as you are putting the selector in. There should be corresponding divots in the selector base that the detent will spring into for the “safe” and “fire” positions.

After looking at the picture further it seems there is a detent near the selector laying already. Is the pin in question a roll pin / split pin?

The safety selector pin is by the safeties pic - I just need to put that back in once installed. The pin is a smooth rolled pin without any grooves, hollow, and very tiny.

I wonder if it is an extra roll pin that came with the new HB Industries trigger? Watching some other videos, it seems like that could be it. I, of course, don't remember if the trigger came with an extra roll pin.. I don't know what else it could be at that size.

I managed to get all my HB Industries parts in the gun correctly and took it to the range. It shot beautifully. No misfires at all. I can see why this becomes a favorite of many.

While I shot 115, 124 and 147 grain bullets, I plan on zero'oing it to 147. It shot a little low as expected. Since I have all the experts on this thread...does anybody have the instructions on how to adjust the iron sights on this thing? I can't find them anywhere.
