CZ Scorpion...

I bought one when they first came out. Mechanically, the weapon has worked flawlessly for me. Easy to takedown and clean. Kind of pricey though. I bought it with the stock attachment kit. And I did put a pistol brace on it and a red dot. My only beef with the weapon is that the safety gets in the way of my grip and wears on my hand. I have not switched out the safety yet, but CZ has some options to fix that. The other flaw that I know of is the threading on the barrel is supposed to be nonstandard which complicates the use of a suppressor. I have not personally tested this since I don't have a 9mm suppressor.

As for value, I probably paid close to $1000 for the gun plus the stock kit (This includes many magazines just in case they would be hard to find down the road.) I would not sell it for a $1000 today. Worth more to me. I will try to remember to take a picture and post it later.

I first tried mine out with no brace, just to see. I did NOT like it that way. It's really not designed as a "pistol".
Then I put the brace on. I didn't think it was possible to have that much fun with 9 mm.
Cheek rest is great, shoulder rest (now legal) is much better.
Manuvers like a pistol, and shoots like a rifle (but faster).

I then evaluated it for home/perimeter defense. It manuvers very fast, and is accurate out to 50 yards. (and beyond ??)
Perfect for that role. Beyond 60 yards, I'll grab my AR-15.

If you don't want to use it for home/perimeter defense, did I mention how much FUN it is.

Warning!!! It has been known to devour vast quantities of 9 mm ammo.

....thanks guys....I have a Sig, but I am looking for a 9mm thats not an AR frame..doesn't look right with the 9mm mag...looks like an after thought...

I had the carbine. Utterly reliable and very accurate, but the ergonomics sucked. Trigger was 12+lbs and creepy, safety was in the way, grip angle was off...... the whole gun felt like I prototype gun that was accidentally put into full production instead of being refined into something great. I was able to fix most of the issues, but eventually sold it and built a radially delayed at upper for my ar that shoots way softer, has better ergos, and trigger. And I went ahead and sbr'd the lower it lives on AND paid the tax stamp for a suppressor for the price of the cz carbine. I run it with the mean arms endomag, so it looks like a pmag rather than a Glock mag. And I can use that for lower on other calibers like 6.5 Grendel, 223, etc.
