Cz Sp-01 Phantom Review

Did both of your magazines feed 19 rounds? Apparently I have a 19 rd and 18rd mag. I'm not sure if one is defective or just needs to loosen up.

Its a fine shooter and then some.

yes both my mags can accomodate 19 rounds, but it was hard the first time i got it. it will eventually lighten. have you shot it already? how did it do for you?

Great shooting pistol. I found the felt recoil quite mild even for a 9mm and very close to recoil on my G34 that I shot that day. I find the sights good for plinking and self defense. Only thing I did not like was the stains on my barrel and the pistol does have a rough finish internally but that just being nitpicky. Excellent balance and just downright fun to shoot.

It took me less rounds to produce tight groups with the Phantom then alot of higher dollar and better known pistols. I can see why people like shooting CZs.

Does the PHANTOM come with Nite Sites??

Do they say TRU-GLO on them??

Stains. Hmmm. Are sure you're not confusing the hardening process CZ uses with "stains"?

No it looks like brown stains that dripped over the place. Internal finish is a bit rough but everything seems to work just fine.

I didn't see Tru GLo written on the sights so no go on the night sites.

The luminous sights on mine are like the Beretta Superluminova, the kind that need to be charged with a light source. I wish they wouldn't bother with those and just give me some good old regular white three dots.

CZ SP-01 Phantom

I just purchaced a CZ SP-01 Phantom. Does anyone know how to change the backstrap? - there is no info about it in the manual.

What's up with the Warning sign on the frame?? How is Phantom's trigger reach-is it better than with CZ75B? I have a short arthritic trigger finger...
Overall, looks promising, but I'd prefer one without decocker. An the square trigger guard is questionable.
