IMG_1185.JPG I was browsing a big box store and saw this beckoning to me. I talked the clerk into taking off the trigger lock so I could test it. I left with it.

That’s one of the few CZ’s I desire, but haven’t purchased. You’ll enjoy.

    is this your first CZ?

Looking at the OP’s photo, he may have the SAO version. It seems to have a straight trigger, which I’ve never seen on the DA/SA version. Terry?

    The OP has a TS2 not a shadow 2.
The TS guns have always been SAO.

My bad. I assumed S2 meant Shadow 2. A closer look at the photo shows the TS2.

I have a very similar CZ, only the serial number is different.

    I'm laughing hard at myself!

I was reading all of the comments about the lovely trigger of the CZ52 and thinking I must have finally lost my last shreds of sanity. :)

What's up with the frame lettering? That's new. My Ts2 is all black.

Lok bogies are great grip upgrades.

I brought home an Urban Gray Shadow 2 last month, it is a fantastic gun. The blue, green and orange ones are real eye catchers, but I went for the sleeper look with this one. (But the rear sight may need some work, it is not wanting to adjust easily.)

You made an excellent choice, let us know how it shoots for you when you get a chance to exercise it.

    Stay safe.

Riomouse did your shadow 2 come with an extra safety lever (left side extended)?

Now you can build your own TS2 or S2 on the CZ website. I played around with it but it doesn't offer anything to me that I couldn't get with a stock gun.

I’m not sure. I recall a bag of recoil spring buffers and some other stuff but I don’t recall another safety lever in the box.

When I get home from the office I will look to see in the case.

    Stay safe..

Cz stopped including the extra safety lever several years ago.

Sorry about the delay, I just climbed up to the shelf where my boxes are and peeked inside. Sure enough, there was a slide lever assembly tucked into the foam of the lid of the Shadow 2 box.

I don’t know if I will ever install it, I sort of like the one that came on it and I don’t know yet if I want to swap yet.

    Stay safe.
