Seems like this would be ideal for a range gun. Any experiences with it? I haven't been able to find one yet. Are they still available?

Yes they are still available. I've had one for a couple years. I won ESP division at the IDPA match yesterday with it.

The 75B SA was my first (and only, so far :() gun. It's easy to maintain, shoots where I point it, and eats all the ammo I've given it without complaining (~5k).

I got it at a show for a hair over $400 and it's been worth every cent.

Another feature to note: the SA version is one of the few semi-autos on the market that allows a person with small hands to actually reach the trigger comfortably.

I've got one. I really don't like DA/SA autos, so I opted for the SA. The trigger is nice and smooth, but a little long. The accuracy was great. I have enjoyed the handgun.

Now, I'm thinking about the Armalite. I like the round trigger guard and the forged frame and slide. I'm not crazy about the DA/SA, nor the fact that it won't handle the CZ mags. The later will probably keep me from getting it.
