Daily Firearms Sales limit by an unlicensed individual?

I sold a couple of guns to two different people today, they told me they had heard it was illegal to sell more than two guns if unlicensed in one day.

Is this true?

Sorry if this is covered in another thread, I did try to search first - the forum search engine is a little... limited.

There is no Federal law limiting how many guns you may sell in one day.
