Daisy disappointment

Everybody remember a few weeks back when I posted this thread about visiting the Daisy Museum in Rogers? And I mentioned I purchased the engraved model that you can only buy in the store? Well, I unboxed it today just to take a picture of it...and saw this blemish:

So much for purchasing a neat family heirloom, huh? Made in China, China crap. Didn't even get a chance for a grandson to beat it up first. And paid $50....just paid $24.95 for one local at Walmart, didn't have the "engraved" stock. The $24.95 one doesn't have any blemishes.

Remember, inspect them before you bring them home.
 
Just a suggestion, you can contact Daisy's customer service and tell them you bought a new gun with a bad forearm. I'd be willing to bet they will send you a replacement. If they don't let me know. I have a new forearm here that you can have.
