Ever heard of this company? I watch a guy on YouTube that does BBQ videos and he recommends them so I bought one off of Amazon. $95 with a 20% discount coupon. It came yesterday and as advertised was razor sharp. I cooked a Ribeye out back on my Ninja Woodfire and used this knife to slice it up - worked great as it should. I did some checking and now I'm not so sure about them as it seems they're made in China, but they also seem very high quality. I don't usually buy knives made in China but again these seem pretty good. Looking forward to your opinion.

Only place I have seen them is on Amazon, but I ordered one a few years back. It was well made, had a nice finish and has worked fine on the rare occasions that warrant something flashy. My primary is a 10" Victorinox, backed by a couple Mercer 8" workhorses, but the Dalstrong comes out when I need to bring the bling. There are many levels/styles but mine was this guy:

A few years back before Ali the Dalstrong knives were interesting. The same type of knife available on Amazon is available for less now on Ali or dhgate (not VG10, but current Amazo Dalstrong). https://www.aliexpress.us/w/wholesa...ife-vg10-.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.search.0

I have some expensive hand-made kitchen knives, Murry Carter, etc., but my every day knives are the old Becker kitchen knives that ESEE made with Ethan. ;)

I was sorely tempted to get one of the current Dan Eastland/Ethan Becker Joy of Cooking knives at Blade Show this year. I've cooked with Dan and Ethan at Ethan's old Gatherings in TN and they certainly know their way around a kitchen and knives. At $200 it is a bargain for a S35VN hand made knife made here in the USA for the kitchen, but I need another knife like I need...another knife. https://youtu.be/g7pofa9pavY

I have purchased at least 15 Dalstrong knives over the last few years. Never had a problem with any of them, they seem to be decent mid price high end knives.
