Iowahawk, aka David Burge, is an absolutely brilliant satirist. I've read through just about all his archives and have been left with my sides hurting many times from laughing so hard.

I couldn't tell if he supported that, or simply that that was the only way it would work.

I would like to see how the govt would handle this in the woods, mountains, or even some city blocks.

Iowahawk is most definitely a satirist, but in this case, he's making fun of something that Dan Simpson has actually written.

    What Simpson wrote: http://www.toledoblade.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=2007704250310

    Iowahawks response: http://iowahawk.typepad.com/iowahawk/2007/04/is_that_a_gun_i.html

Read them both, and you'll realize that this Simpson loon is SERIOUS about his ideas of eliminating gun ownership, complete with flying squads, stop-checks, and midnight raids, 4th Amendment be damned.

Simpson's bio should read "... retired diplomat, naive idiot, and raving lunatic..."

He doesn't deserve to live in this country.:fire:

This has been cited several [dozen] times in usenet. My response:

    "No, I refuse. Now what?"

    Gets 'em every time! :D

Iowahawk is one of my favorite sites, I just wish David would post more often.

This guy Simpson is an idiot, and embodies my view of our State Department. What a loon...
