Dan Wesson 1911

I'm looking at a Dan Wesson Bobtail Commander. Not knowing much about DW can anyone tell me if the frame and slide are forged?

The CZ-USA/Dan Wesson website is very specific in saying that the slide and barrel are forged, but only refers to the frame as stainless steel.

Most discussions I have seen say that the frame is cast. Good castings make fine pistols (i.e. Caspian, Browning Hi Power) and the frame on my son's CBOB is gorgeous.
